Size down if you are between sizes; I normally size up with rings because my fingers swell during exercise or just hot weather, but the stretch on these makes that largely unnecessary, and they are (to me) more bothersome than metal when loose. Properly sized, these are so comfortable I often forget I have them on.The nude-ish color is not great on me; it's a little too subtle for contrast, but also significantly darker than my actual skin, so "neither fish nor fowl." I choose it over a set with white because I already knew white just makes my hands look sort of red and raw (oops); this shade doesn't cause that problem but isn't flattering on me. I can imagine it being absolutely gorgeous on someone with brown skin, particularly if you have warm undertones.The rose gold on these is VERY rosy; I kind of wish I'd gotten yellow, but a comparable pack with yellow gold hardware was not available at the time.I love the black (that one looks very striking, but slim enough not to be overwhelming, against my very pale skin). Would consider purchasing a larger size in black, maybe with silver hardware, for my index finger.I would also repurchase this same size for my ring finger in different colors; I'd love to see a pack that added a teal or navy alongside what the brand is calling "Nantucket Breeze."Tl;dr - comfortable, size down if in doubt, maybe consider a different nude option if you have very fair skin.
